The Grant County Boys & Girls Club used their giving hands to help roll up 10,000 flags that were placed on soldiers graves at the local VA National Cemetery
The Grant County Boys & Girls Club gives back to our community in many ways. After Memorial Day, we schedule a day of service and go to the National VA Cemetery to roll up 10,000 flags that had been placed on each soldier’s grave. This enabled the paid staff to continue with their daily tasks and allowed the children to understand the importance of both serving our nation from a local youth perspective and, ultimately, from a national soldier’s perspective. It is a day that we value and look forward to.
